I love to edit and my experience consists of more than 20 years working as a copy editor, news editor and subeditor at newspapers in Ireland and the US, including 10 years at the Pulitzer Prize-winning Boston Globe. For the past 12 years, I have been working as a freelance editor.

I also love to write. My experience consists of several years working as a newspaper reporter as well as a freelance writer. I've written copy for personal websites, online news sites and brochures along with quiz questions for two websites as well as creating word and picture puzzles for game apps. Most recently, I've been writing stories for Zoo Matters, the children's magazine at Dublin Zoo.

I can take any copy and make it sing – that means a lot more than fixing typos and correcting the grammar. You know how sometimes what you've written isn't exactly what you mean?
